Brazilian Footballer Kaka announces Retirement

Former Brazilian World Cup champion Kaka has announced his retirement from soccer .

Kaka played for Brazil, AC Milan and Real Madrid. He scored 29 goals and also featured at three World Cups. He was part of the Brazil squad that lifted the trophy in 2002.

Milan brought him to Italy from Sao Paulo when he was 21. He was also part of the Milan team that won the 2007 Champions League final against Liverpool. Fans will remember him for his performances against Man United in the semifinals of the tournament that year.

He was the last player before Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi era began to receive the Ballon d’or.
